At our Straydog Vancouver Web Maintenance Services Studio, we understand that your website is a valuable business asset, and just like any other piece of technology or equipment, it must be properly maintained and supported. A properly maintained website can last far longer than a neglected site, so it’s important that once you have spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars to build your new website, that you implement a formal Website Maintenance & Support Program. At Straydog, we offer numerous programs to fit the needs of your business and your website. These programs can take the form any number of the following:

1. Monthly Hosting & Update Plan: We host your site and perform all regular software updates to the site on a monthly basis. These programs ensure that your site is operating efficiently and safely and that it is hosted on a fully-supported platform with 24/7 real-time support. These programs start at $450/month.

2. Monthly Updates Plan: On a monthly basis, we perform all the necessary software updates on your site (The Core, Themes, Plug-ins or Modules, security patches, bug fixes). These plans start at $325/month. Does NOT include hosting.

Monthly Retainer Plans: These programs offer Hosting, Performing of all software updates, plus a bucket of hours to be used for any website design or development or content management.

A. The Basic plan

> Starts at $575/month that includes 4 hours of support that can be used for any website related work, including: design, development, content management, software updates. No Roll-over of hours.

B. The Standard plan

> Starts at $850/month and includes 6 hours of support that can be used for any website related work, including: design,
development, content management, software updates. No Roll-over of hours.

 C. The Premium Plan:

> Starts at $1,100/month and includes 8 hours of support that can be used for any website related work, including: design,
development, content management, software updates. No Roll-over of hours.

D. The Elite Plan:

> Starts at $1,250/month and includes 10 hours of support that can be used for any website related work, including: design,
development, content management, software updates. No Roll-over of hours.

Depending on your websites’ need, most of the above programs can be combined with a Hosting plan, starting at $40/month.

At our Straydog Vancouver Website Maintenance & Support Studio, we strive to build long-lasting partnerships with all of our clients. With our monthly website retainer programs, we offer you everyday piece-of-mind and support for your website.

When you choose a monthly plan, we put you at the front of the line. Here’s what you’ll get:

• You are given a higher priority for larger projects as they arise.
• You get discounted prices for design and development services. (our standard rates for digital design is $175/hr and $135 for development and technical support)
• Piece-of-mind that we’re here when you need the help!

How does it work?

The full monthly Plan fee is due at the time of the contract signing. As services are used, time is deducted from the pre-paid retainer. All work is itemized after each task is completed to show usage and we provide you with a monthly recap at the end of each month.

Leftovers/Additional hours

We do our best to make sure you stay up to-date on the status of your retainer hours, but ultimately, it’s up to you to ensure they’re used within the monthly time frame. Unused hours at the end of the month are forfeited, unless your contract states otherwise.

However, if have a 10 hour retainer program, but you need 15 hrs worth of work in a given month, we will bill you the additional 5 hours at the same rate as the retainer, not the normal rate. This can save you hundreds of dollars over the course of a year.

Do you need Website Training?

If you are in need of website training for your staff, we can help. We design and conduct custom training sessions to help you effectively manage your existing or new WordPress, Drupal or Shopify website. The costs of these programs may also be eligible to receive BC Provincial Job Training Grants to help you off-set the costs of our fees to you.
