Challenge

Planet Bee approached Straydog seeking a package design agency would could develop a new brand logo and label design for their bee products.

Background

With a wide range of bee products such as honey, granules, tinctures and capsules, Planet Bee was looking for a design that could tie everything together in a consistent look and feel. Although Planet Bee manufactures bee products, they also pride themselves on being a small local meadery who hosts educational tours for its guests.

Action

We started by designing a new brand identity and logo. It was important that the brand was both friendly and professional. From there, we moved into the family of products and each label design. We designed a series of icons to convey the type of product and patterns to to support the graphic identity system for the brand family.

Outcome

The fresh designs build upon Planet Bee’s commitment to healthy bee products, while maintaining a fun and inviting tone.
